Imran Kifayat
Principal, AIA
Imran received his Bachelor of Architecture from Florida A&M University and is a registered architect in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia. He has more than 25 years of experience focused on mixed-use and multifamily projects in both urban and suburban settings. Imran has successfully led his teams on a variety of project types, including retail, residential, student housing, civic and hospitality. Imran is a client-oriented design leader, promoting process and technical expertise within a collaborative studio environment. He is actively involved in industry organizations and committed to elevating emerging talent in architecture through engaged participation and mentorship.

Stephen Moriak
Principal, AIA
Stephen Moriak is a highly accomplished architect with over 30 years of experience specializing in mixed-use residential developments. As a design leader, Steve adeptly coordinates team members and consultants, steering projects from initial concepts to award-winning results. His extensive expertise encompasses master planning and programming, feasibility analysis, project management, conceptual design, graphic design and 3D modeling, construction documentation, and construction administration. All of these areas underpin UDW’s dedication to design excellence. Moreover, as a LEED-accredited professional, Steve plays a crucial role in advancing our commitment to sustainable design.
Steve's core principles of being deeply committed to fostering a culture of design excellence, quality documentation, and building strong client relationships have been central to his career. This background has imparted a profound respect from clients as they pursue their vision and financial investments in their projects.
